David Knape grew up in Ferguson, Missouri, a North County suburb of St. Louis. His parents still live there as does his twin sister, Jennifer. After graduating from McCluer High School, David went to Bradley Univerisity in Peoria, Illinois where he completed a Bachelors degreee in Multimedia Communication as well as a minor in Business Administration.
From 2000-2004, David worked as a web developer for a software development firm in Peoria called Infogenic Systems. After moving to Portland in 2001, he worked for Infogenic remotely until August of 2004.
David worked as a lead programmer for Second Story Interactive Studios in Portland from August of 2004 until April of 2006 where he created applications, kiosks, websites, and various other kinds of interactive greatness.
Now an independent contractor and consultant, David works from his home office in Southeast Portland. You can read more about David's professional experience on his LinkedIn profile.
